Victoria Tumanova received her Ph.D. from the University of Iowa in 2010 and clinical Master’s degrees from University of Northern Iowa in 2004.  She joined the faculty at Syracuse University in 2013 after two years as a post-doctoral research fellow in the Developmental Stuttering Project Laboratory at Vanderbilt University.

 

Danielle Kealy, M.S., CCC-SLP
Danielle Kealy is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist who graduated with her Master’s degree from Syracuse University in 2018. She has clinical experience in medical and educational settings. Danielle joined Dr. Tumanova’s stuttering lab in June of 2022 to obtain research experience and consider pursuing a doctorate. 

 

Meaghan Doyle
Meaghan Doyle is a junior from Westtown, NY.  She is currently pursuing a double major in Communication Sciences and Disorders & Neuroscience with a minor in Education Studies.  With hopes to complete a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology after graduation, she is looking forward to learning more about childhood stuttering and different factors that may influence a person’s stutter.

 

Elizabeth Fox
Libby Fox is a Junior at Syracuse University from Cleveland, Ohio. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Science for Communications Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Human Family Science and Development. She joined Dr. Tumanova’s stuttering lab in the Spring of 2022 and is very excited to continue her research in hopes of becoming a licensed Speech Pathologist.  

 

Jade McKenney
Jade McKenney is from Syracuse, NY. She is a junior majoring in Communication Sciences & Disorders and minoring in Disability Studies. She looks forward to learning more about Speech Pathology by doing research at the Gebbie Clinic. 

 

Shannon Collins 
Shannon Collins is a junior from Boone, NC. He is studying Communication Science and Disorders and Spanish and can’t wait to embark on the effort to further our understanding of stuttering. He is currently researching the possible relationship between breathing and stuttering in children and hopes to eventually become a licensed speech pathologist.

 

Ally Mizzone
Ally Mizzone is from Bloomingdale, NY. She completed her undergraduate degree at Syracuse University in May of 2022, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Communication and Rhetorical Studies. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at Syracuse University. 

 

Isabella Reeve
Isabella Reeve is a junior at Syracuse University from Wellesley, Massachusetts. Currently, she is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Psychology. She joined the stuttering lab in the Fall 2020 and is very excited to research childhood stuttering in preparation for a career in Speech-Language Pathology.

 

Chloe Crowley
Chloe Crowley is a junior at Syracuse University from West Springfield, MA. She is pursuing a CSD major and Disability Studies minor, and joined Dr. Tumanova’s stuttering lab in Spring 2022. She is looking forward to becoming more involved in the lab in the upcoming Fall 2022 semester.
